How to Fund Your Start-up Venture

Working on a new start-up venture but not sure how or when to raise investment money?

Join Ian Mashiter, angel investor and Innovate@BU team member and Daylin Frantin (Questrom'19), co-founder of Flux Marine, with firsthand startup fundraising experience, for an introductory workshop to funding your early-stage venture. During this session, you will learn:

• When should you really start fundraising and are you really ready to fundraise?
• What are the right reasons to fundraise, and what are the wrong reasons to fundraise?
• What are the different sources of funding for early stage teams and the pros and cons of each?

This workshop is great for students and recent alumni who are:

• Founders of early-stage start-ups of any kind
• Thinking about launching a new venture
• Curious about the start-up funding process
